Description

Jumping Jacks are special enemies appearing on the map Die Rise. Similar in appearance to the Nova-6 Crawler, however, these zombies behave much differently.

Melee Swing

Range: Short

Swings at players when within melee range.

Jump Swing

Range: Medium

Jumps towards the player while swinging, dealing damage once within melee range.

Spawn Behavior

Jumping Jacks are round-specific, and when they spawn, these will be the only enemies on the map for that round. They first spawn on rounds 5-7, and then every 5 rounds after their first appearance. They will spawn in groups of two per player alive, with a new group spawning after a group has been killed.

Combat Strategy

Jumping Jacks have little health but are extremely agile and quick, often jumping off walls to dodge the player's bullets. The best way to deal with these enemies is to camp in a corner, guns ready, or even better, place a Trample Steam buildable down in front of you while in the corner to kill any Jumping Jacks that jump onto it.
