Island Spores

This side quest has players in the waters of the map searching the smaller islands on the map for signs of spores growing on them, destroying all of them for a worthy reward of a Free Perk, Aetherium Crystal(s), Points, and Salvage.

Destroying Spores

Many smaller islands could potentially have spores on them, which you cannot walk on, as displayed on the map. Only one island per round will have spores on it, and once all the spores are destroyed, a rumbling can be heard, indicating that there are no more spores for this round.

All spores on a single island must be destroyed within a single round. Doing so also resets the Tentacle's timer so you aren't being attacked while doing this quest.

After all, the spores have been destroyed, progress to the next round, where you will need to repeat the process, once destroyed, you will need to repeat it for a final time, totaling three islands with spores on them. Afterward, flip the round and head to the Sea Caves, where you must destroy all the spores in the cave, completing the quest and rewarding you with loot.
