Savage Impaler

This side quest has players complete a set of challenges to obtain the Savage Impaler weapon, which is only available on this map. Unlocking the weapon for other players in the game to obtain by getting it out of the Mystery Box.

Wraith Fires are also very helpful for one of the later steps, but they are not required to complete it.

Turn off the Candles

You must put out six candles around the map by knifing the their flames. The six candle locations are:

Find & Escort the Ghost

Head to the Forest area, and on the right-side path, you'll find a stone with some water underneath of it. Interact with that stone to be given a Zombie Blood like effect, which will allow you to see the ghost.

Although this effect is like Zombie Blood in its appearance, it does the complete opposite, attracting all zombies towards you if you are in a co-op game.

Once you have this effect, run around the map until you find a blue ghost woman that you can begin escorting to the Mausoleum.

If you lose your Zombie Blood like effect, you can interact with the stone again to get it back. If that doesn't work however, you'll have to end the round to get the effect back.

This ghost is pretty noticable, and can be found in the following locations:

• Entrance Hall
• Master Bedroom
• Music Room
• Billiards Room
• Greenhouse Laboratory
• Dining Room

Complete the challenges

Once escorted, certain zombies will begin glowing with a teal hue. You must kill these zombies in four specific ways in this order:

1. Kill with any weapon
2. Kill with fire damage (Wraith Fire, Fire Trap, etc.)
3. Kill with your Special Weapon
4. Kill with your Ballistic Shield

After each kill, the zombie will drop an item that you'll need to interact with to collect. Once all four items have been collected, place each of them into the white circles inside the Mausoleum.

Once placed, you'll need to kill about 15 Nosferatu zombies while inside the Mausoleum to charge up the circles, turning them blue once completed.

Claim the Savage Impaler

Once completed, head to the Cemetery and interact with the tomb left of the stairs leading to the Mausoleum, revealing a secret crypt containing the Savage Impaler for you to grab. This will start a lockdown spawning Nosferatu zombies, and a Werewolf that the Savage Impaler should easily handle for you.

In co-op, all players must enter the crypt to allow someone to claim the Savage Impaler.
