Plaguehounds, similar to the Hellhound, are fast, agile enemies. However, they do not have a lot of health and can be easily taken out in a few shots, especially with a strong weapon like a shotgun. Unlike the Hellhound, these enemies release toxic gas when killed, similar to the Nova-6 Crawler, which you should avoid; therefore, it's best to keep moving when fighting these enemies, taking them out at a distance and steering clear of their toxic gas.
