Free Rarity Upgrade

This side quest has players complete a sharpshooter challenge for the weapon class they want to upgrade. There are three available challenges, one for pistols, smgs, and sniper rifles. You aren't limited to just one challenge.

You are timed for all of these challenges and will fail if you do not hit each of the targets before they disappear.

Pistol Challenge

To activate the Pistol sharpshooter challenge, head to Anytown West and inside a flower bed will be a pistol blueprint you can interact with to start the challenge which will take place in the record shop, directly in front of the blueprint.

The targets will appear slowly for this challenge, and can appear on the second floor of the shop.

SMG Challenge

To activate the SMG sharpshooter challenge, head to Main Street and on top of a pile of cinder blocks, right of Beach Pizza will be a SMG blueprint you can interact with to start the challenge which will take place in the pizza shop, and gradually make their way up to the rooftop.

Their will be about four targets per area for this challenge, so make sure you are ready to move into the next area after shooting around four targets.

Sniper Rifle Challenge

To activate the Sniper Rifle sharpshooter challenge, head to Video Store Rooftop and on top of the AC Unit will be a Sniper Rifle blueprint you can interact with to start the challenge which will take place on that rooftop, looking out to the other stores from left-to-right.

The targets will appear throughout the rooftops/windows of all the stores visible from left-to-right, with the final target coming down the zipline from the Observation Tower.
