Gnome

There are four Gnomes hidden around the map that, when shot with Shadow Rift equipped, will spawn a Viking Helmet in the Loven's Antiquities building that you can equip to become a Gnome, granting you invincibility while still being able to kill zombies for 30 seconds. It remains purchasable for 6000 essence even after it wears off.

Gnome Locations

Depending on the strength of your weapon, you may need to shoot these Gnomes multiple times to collect them. You'll know you've shot them enough if they explode in a puff of purple smoke.

The Machine Workshop is opened by Wunderbarraging the wooden door left of the crafting table in the Dry Dock. See our Main Quest Guide for how to unlock the Wunderbarrage. Some of these Gnomes are hard to see without a sniper or long-ranged scope, but they are located where you see the crosshair aiming in the images. You'll know you successfully hit one if you see a white shield icon appear on your screen.

Viking Helmet

Once you have shot all four Gnomes, head to the Loven's Antiquities building where you'll find a Viking Helmet on the table in the center surrounded by gnome statues, which you can interact with to pick up, and then crouch to transform into the Gnome for 30 seconds.

You can always rebuy this state at the Viking Helmet in the Blodheim Hall where Vulture Aid is located.
