Free Ray Gun

This side quest has players grab a shovel and the new Death Perception perk and start digging for Ancient Gems to offer up to one of the ancient statues for a free Ray Gun and 1000 points.

Requirements

• Death Perception
• Shovel

Shovels are highlighted with a white outline in your game and are found all over the map, there are four total locations for a shovel so that everyone in your game can have one. You can view these locations on our Interactive Map.

Finding the Dig Spots

After obtaining a Shovel and the Death Perception perk, you can begin digging the dig spots around the map that are mounds of dirt, bones, and skulls on the ground that will prompt you when you are near one if you have a Shovel. You can view all possible dig spot locations on our Interactive Map as well.

Dig up as many spots as needed until you have obtained three Ancient Gems. Once all three gems have been dug up, head to the Tombs and offer the Ancient Gems to the statue near the bull art on the wall to the right of the Death Perception perk.

This will spawn two Doppelghast, which, once killed, will complete the quest and, after an animation plays, will grant you your free Ray Gun and 1000 points for anyone in your game to collect.
