Cursed Talisman
This side quest has players helping a ship captain reclaim the treasure that was stolen from him by his former crewmates, showering you with legendary weapons as an initial reward only for a greater one to reveal itself with time.
Requirements
Three Molotovs
Begin the Quest
Head to the Sea Caves to find an unusual wall that can be broken down by punching it with revealing a map and an old captain skeleton which you can interact with to trigger some dialogue.
Reclaim What's His
After interacting with the captain, the map will reveal an X of where his lost watch can be found in the water. This location changes every game, return the watch to the captain to receive more dialogue.
After the dialogue, the map will reveal three X's of where his crewmate's skeletons lie that you must burn with a Molotov spawning a HVT that you must kill, the locations of the skeletons are the same every game and are as follows:
Castle Rock Island
Temple Island
Shipwreck
After killing an HVT a cursed coin will be dropped which you must pick up and return to the captain before being able to pick up another.
Once all three cursed coins have been returned to the captain you will be showered in legendary weapons as a reward for your efforts.
Obtaining the Talisman
Progress about three rounds until a storm can be seen on Crab Island. Head to the island to find a golden glowing chest that you can interact with, opening it and reveal the Cursed Talisman for you or anyone in your game to collect, granting you permanent Double Points with the curse of losing points when hit by zombies.
The curse is on a cooldown so you can only lose points when hit every 5 seconds. You can also place the talisman back down at the chest at any time for other players to use or if you don't want to bear the curse anymore.
