Marine-SP Upgrade

This side quest has players place a Marine-SP of at least Rare rarity on a shelf under some deer heads to then charge it with kills while using a certain field upgrade to upgrade the weapon.

Requirements

You must have a Marine-SP with at least Rare rarity, either obtained from the Mystery Box, Wall Buy, or by upgrading one that you spawned in with at the Arsenal. You must also have the Death Perception perk, which can be bought on the map at the West Hallways.

Upgrading the Marine-SP

Head to the Banquet Hall and place the shotgun down on the shelf underneath the deer heads. Then shoot the deer heads, and their eyes will begin glowing, indicating which field upgrade you must have activated to kill zombies and upgrade the shotgun.

Here is a comprehensive list of what eye color corresponds to what field upgrade:

• Purple = Dark Flare
• Orange = Energy Mine
• Red = Frenzied Guard
• Light Blue = Tesla Storm

Remember you can always switch between field upgrades mid-game in the pause menu. If the field upgrade is a damaging one like Tesla Storm you must get kills with the field upgrade itself, otherwise you just need kills while it is active.

Once completed, you can grab your newly upgraded shotgun off the wall. If you are solo, you can save and quit and repeat this multiple times to obtain a fully packed shotgun; however, this may be patched in the future.
