Margaw Mask

This side quest has players shoot six Margwa hearts located around the map while riding the train. This can only be done after you have obtained the Upgrade Apothicon Sword by progressing the main quest.

Requirements

• Upgraded Apothicon Sword

The Ray Gun is extremely recommended for this side quest as it makes hitting these hearts significantly easier due to the splash damage being able to hit the hearts.

Step 1: Shoot the Hearts

In two train rides, you must shoot all six Margwa hearts. Starting from the Waterfront District, take the train to the Footlight District, and on the way there, there will be five hearts you need to hit. Below are the locations and which side of the train you should be facing:

The third, fourth, and fifth hearts you will be able to hit again during the second train ride so do not worry if you missed any of those.

Afterwards, change the track to the CANALS and start the train looking out the right side for the final heart:

Once all six hearts have been shot, a Margwa growl should be heard indicating the successful completion of this step.

If you failed to hit any of the hearts you will need to take a third train ride from the CANALS to WATERFRONT to reset the hearts and try again.

Step 2: Find and Equip the Mask

The mask can spawn in four different locations and is invisible, but you can see which location it spawned via a prompt saying "Hold <interact button> to Pick Up the Margwa Head." and there will be a little sparkle flashing to let you know. The four locations are:

Once you have grabbed the head, you can enjoy increased protection from the Margwa's slam attack.
